I’ve created this recommendations page to list services, products, and companies that I’ve used and/or ones that I know are valuable. You can quickly find great products and services all in one place.

Money-Saving Websites
Swagbucks: Swagbucks is a company where you can earn Swagbucks that you can redeem for gift cards and cash for all kinds of things. You do this by completing surveys, shopping through their links, playing games, watching videos and searching the web. I’ve been a member for a while now and it’s pretty easy to rack up your Swagbucks.
MyPoints: MyPoints is similar to Swagbucks where you complete tasks, offers, surveys and shop for points. I’ve been a long-time user of MyPoints and have gotten several gift cards. This is one of my favorite sites since it’s so easy to earn lots of points quickly.
Inbox Dollars: Inbox Dollars is another similar 
company to both Swagbucks and MyPoints. You get $5 when you join! They have a section full of 100% free offers. I like that they send you what’s called a “paid email.” You get 40.02 just for acknowledging that you’ve read the email.
Ebates/Rakuten: Rakuten/Ebates is a company gives you CASH BACK just for shopping. It’s free for you to use. You also get a $25 bonus for anyone that signs up under your link! They have varying percentages for cashback depending on a variety of factors. I earned a ton over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotions.

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing: Michelle’s course is THE BEST! She went from $0 to $50,000 per month in affiliate income! I started using her methods right away and I’m starting to see some an uptick in my affiliate income right after I finished her course. There isn’t anyone better to learn the ins and outs of affiliate marketing from!
Bluehost: Bluehost is where I host my website. If you sign up through my link you get a free domain name if you purchase at least a year of hosting. You can get hosting at low at $2.95/month! They also have 1 click WordPress installation. I host with Bluehost and I absolutely love it! Bluehost is one of the top hosting platforms out there. This is one of the easiest ways to inexpensively start your blog.
FreshBooks: FreskBooks is online cloud-based accounting software. I’ve been a long-time user of FreshBooks back from when I used to run my own business back in 2013-2016. The site is super user-friendly and intuitive. The apps are very easy to use as well. Keep track of payments, invoices, and expenses all in one place.
Social Media Related Services
Later: Later is a service that you can use to schedule your Instagram posts for FREE! They have a paid option as well but you get 30 free pins a month. If you sign up with my link you’ll get an extra 10 pins for our first month. It’s super easy to set up and super user-friendly. The interface is super intuitive and easy to use. They have a phone app as well.
Tailwind: Tailwind is a service that you can use to schedule your Pinterest pins. It has lots of cool features like the Smart Schedule feature to Pin when your audience is most active. It has limitations for the free version you get a month trial of the paid service AND if you sign up with my link you get $15 off when you upgrade! I just started using Tailwind and I’ve seen a HUGE increase on my Pinterest and blog traffic and engagement. They have a phone app (I haven’t had a chance to try that one out yet but I’ve downloaded it) as well.
Writing Related Services
Grammarly: Grammarly is THE #1 grammar and spelling checker out there. It integrates seamlessly into Microsoft OS or MS Word and they have a website and a Chrome extension. I installed this handy tool months ago and let me tell you, it’s invaluable! I have a deep dive into what Grammarly is and what it does. You can read all about the service here.
Health & Fitness Recommendations
Barbell Apparel: Barbell Apparel is the site to go to if you’re looking for pants (and clothes in general) that fit properly if you lift weights. It can be a little on the pricy side but 100% worth it. You can also use coupon code Des10 for 10% off your order! I have a pair of shorts from them and I LOVE them. I want to try the jeans one of these days and the workout leggings. They have a wide range of clothing from jeans to shorts to non-denim pants, shirts and workout gear.
Lenny & Larry’s Cookies: Lenny And Larry’s Cookies are super yummy. You may have heard of the Complete Cookie. I love them. They always run sales and specials. My favorites are the peanut butter chocolate chip and the snickerdoodle cookies.
